About Power Camp

Texas Southern University Bands is excited to host its 3rd annual Band Day Power Camp activity scheduled for Saturday March 2nd, 2013 from 12pm to 5pm on the campus of Texas Southern University. Middle and High School Band students from all are invited to experience The Ocean of Soul Band Program. Students will get to tour the campus, talk to band directors and campus recruiters. High School seniors will have the opportunity to audition for band scholarship during this activity. Make sure your bring your instrument as students will learn new music as they rehearse with the Ocean of Soul Pep Band. The Day will conclude with the band performing at the Pre-Game Activities of the TSU vs. Alcorn State University Basketball Game with you as a guest performer for the day. The cost to attend is free and this activity is open to middle and high school students.
